This dissertation focus on the BBC's China anti-corruption news which reported after 18th CPC, from the perspective of discourse analysis. The basic features, producing process and the social factors of the discourse patterns are studied in this paper which collects the BBC's China anti-corruption news reported from 2013-2015 as analyzing samples. The main research methods of this paper are content analysis and discourse analysis. Based on the statistics of content analysis, further in-depth discourse analysis will be given.Chapter one gives a brief introduction of the basic concepts, research review and the research methods.Chapter two is fundamentally basic information about the BBC's China anti-corruption news. This chapter reveals the mainly reporting issues, exposure industries and characteristics of administration regions.Chapter three to six are the main part of this dissertation. On the basis of Fairclough's discourse analysis, it is the characteristics, producing process and the social causes of the discourse model of China anti-corruption in BBC which are studied, respectively from three dimensions:discourse analysis of text, discourse practice analysis and social practice analysis. In chapter three and four, the software AntConc is used to describe the key words of the samples as well as reveals the implicit viewpoint of BBC's reports. In chapter five, we analyze how BBC rebuilds the limited objective reality. Regarding to the last chapter, we take the social factors into consideration. On one hand, the social issues propel the BBC reporting way; on the other hand, the BBC report is reflection of the social circumstances. It reveals the socials factors for BBC reports from four perspectives:the development of Chinese society, the improving relationship between China and Britain, the pressure of interests group and Western Journalism Professionalism.
