Research On Protection Of The Rights For Sanitation Workers

Sanitation workers belong to the workers, comparing with other workers, because of the particularity in this work, the rights of sanitation workers need more protection. The rights of workers include many aspects which show in the following respects in sanitation workers. Firstly, right of life. They work hard and seriously, they make great contribution to the society, however their reward cannot be compared to their giving. For example, Low salary, incompletely social security, and bad housing situation. Secondly, right of life and health. They work in every corner of the city whatever wind and rain, they safeguard the city clean, healthy for the citizens, but they can’t protect their own safety and health.For example, long work duration, heavy and strength, bad work environment, frequent security issues. Last but not least, right of personality. The maintenance of their dignity are not effective, phenomenon of discrimination is widespread. Right of voice is missing, there is no channel to maintenance their rights. Therefore, focusing on the protection of rights and interests for sanitation worker is of great significance to implement the spirit of CCP and China Dream.In this paper, the sanitation workers were surveyed, the questionnaire survey method, the data statistics method, the comparative inductive method and the literature material law were applied,105valid questionnaires were analyzed to study the protection of rights and interests of sanitation workers.In the first part, simple explanation was made about the background and situation of Dalian sanitation work reform. In the second part, through the comparison with other cities, the causes and phenomenon were analyzed from the perspectives of right of life, right health and right of personality. In the end, some measures were established to protect the rights and interests of sanitation workers.There are some innovations and shortages in this paper. Innovations are the point of view and the research methods. Humanrightstheorywas applied, the situation analysis and measures were made from three aspects of the human rights such as protection of right of life, right of health and personality right. What’s more, in the process of study, real contact and communication were made with the sanitation workers and the first hand information was obtained, so the authenticity and objectiveness could be ensured.Human rights are comprehensive and cover widely, so for shortages, it was not studied deeply and widely enough in this paper.
