In accordance with the requirements for building a resource-conserving and environment-friendly society, Dalian city has been implementing the strategy of recycling economy and sustainable development. With the strive of building a clean, beautiful harmonious and low-carbon city, the burden of garbage transportation and disposal becomes increasingly heavier. Sanitation work belongs to labor-intensive industry. Combined with the current background and characteristics of Dalian market-operation mode, How to improve sanitation workers' job satisfaction and performance has become a research question of sanitation management departments. By reviewing domestic and foreign related literature,Combining with the actual situation of Dalian sanitation management,Sanitation workers job satisfaction and performance after the market-operation mode reform carried on the thorough study of the relationship by Questionnaire survey method. The results of the analysis and put forward the corresponding improvement suggestions.The related literature on job satisfaction and performance analysis at home and abroad was reviewed with combing and summary. Combined with Dalian market-operation mode reform of workers sanitation work influence factors were analyzed. It is concluded that affect the sanitation workers all dimensions of job satisfaction and performance. According to the sanitation workers job satisfaction and performance of each dimension hypothesis is put forward. Through scientific analysis of the reliability and validity of the questionnaire, the final version of the questionnaire was designed. Based on the data collected by the revised and formal questionnaire, the correlation of various dimensions between sanitation workers' job satisfaction and performance was obtained via SPSS software to analyze the questionnaire data. The demographic information of sanitation workers, such as age, hometown, and educational background, which may affect their job satisfaction, was also analyzed.Based on the above research and analysis, combined with the actual management of sanitation workers, some targeted suggestions were put forward. These recommendations focused on various influence dimensions of job satisfaction, including implementing scientific management system, establishing incentive payment system, creating good working atmosphere, and strengthening personnel training, to improve sanitation workers' job satisfaction and work performance.
