In terms of form, the development of urbanization generally includes the renewalof the old city and expansion of new town. In fact, the cost of expansion of new townis far lower than that of the renewal of the old city. In addition, the number ofcollective land is much larger than that of the state-owned land in China. Therefore,in this context, the governments tend to achieve the development of urbanization bythe method of the requisition of rural collective land. The rapidly increasingdevelopment of urbanization has brought the phenomenon that large amount ofcollective land have been requisitioned and a large number of housing on thecollective land have been demolished, with a large number of conflicts andcontradiction, which relate to the social harmony and stability. On the basis of the literature review, this paper adopts the qualitative researchmethod of grounded theory to analyze the material to construct the theoretical model. The model is based on the demolition willingness to the demolition utility and to thedemolition conflict as the main line. The demolition willingness includes the factorof housing emotion, housing value and worry about the future life after the housingdemolition. External situational variables regulate the relationship betweendemolition willingness and demolition utility; the self-control of those whose housewill be demolished regulates the relationship between demolition utility anddemolition conflict. The external situational variables include macro institutionalcontext (urbanization system, land finance, demolition system specification, socialsecurity) and micro situational demolition behavior (demolition type, demolitioncompensation, demolition relocation, anti-demolition alliance). Then, this paper is mainly based on the prospect theory in behavioral economicsto hypothesize the relationship among variables. This paper designs the measurementindicators, and distributes the questionnaires to test the theoretical model. Byconstructing one variable and multivariable regression equation, we can analyze therelationship among the demolition willingness, the demolition utility and demolitionconflict through regression analysis. By constructing regression equation with theinteraction term, we can analyze the regulating effect of systems and demolitionsituational context. Finally, in order to test whether demolition utility has a mediating effect, we analyze whether demolition utility of the three regression equations reachedsignificant level. By using statistical software of AMOS21, we also analyzeadaptation test and path analysis of the model main line.(1)The results of regression analysis indicate that demolition willingness has asignificant positive effect on the demolition utility, housing emotion has a significantnegative impact demolition utility, housing value has a negative impact on demolitionutility, worry about the life after demolition has no significant effect on demolitionutility, demolition utility has a significant negative impact on demolition conflict. It isenlightened that the government can reduce the demolition conflict by raising thedemolition utility, and the mechanism of action is through enhancing the demolitionwillingness.(2)The results of moderating effect test shows that: four dimensions ofinstitutional contexts which interact respectively with demolition willingness all reachthe significant level, playing a role in the regulation effect; However, only thedemolition compensation and demolition relocation which interact respectively withdemolition willingness reach the significant level under the demolition behavior, demolition type and anti-demolition ally did not reach the significant level. It isenlightened that in order to enhance its demolition utility, the government canimplement some measurements, including macroscopic and microcosmic institutionalcontext to adjust the relationship between demolition willingness and demolitionutility; self-control also did not reach the significant level, but its main effect has asignificant negative effect on demolition conflict, which inspired the government thatin the demolition process, the state should not let those whose house will bedemolished loss of temper in order to avoid the demolition conflict.(3)The result ofthe mediating effect test shows that the demolition utility has a partial mediatingeffect.(4)The main line of the goodness of fit of the model test and path resultsshow that all kinds of fit statistics are reach the adaptation of the standard, whichmeans the whole main model line fit is acceptable. The results of path analysis are thesame as the regression analysis. It not only further enriches and develops thedemolition conflict theory, but also gives policy-makers the policy recommendationsthat can reduce the behavior of conflicts related to housing demolition on collectiveland.
