An Empirical Study Of The Image Of The Civil Servant Under The Perspective Of Social Stratification

Serving as a working group in government occupational groups, the civil servants isthe organizers, managers of the country and society, and the agents and executor ofpublic power. The quality of the image of the civil servants, not only directly related tothe credibility of the party and the government, but also related to the success or failureof the socialist cause. Thus, we should concern the image of civil servants, and the realpolitical、moral、service capabilities and the incorrupt image. Which is significant foranalyzing the present situation of ideological and political quality of the civil servant,optimizing and upgrading the ideological and political education level of civil servants,and continuously improving the ideological and political quality of the civil servants.Organic combining the objective conditions and subjective understanding of theimage of civil servants not only depends on the actual ideological and political quality,awareness of serving people, and perform official duties honestly or other objectivefactors, but also affected by the understanding of different people from different socialidentities and classes or other subjective factors. Based on the analysis on the image ofthe civil and the social class combing theory research, and with a questionnaire surveyof different social strata’s different image of civil servants, this dissertation launch outthe demonstration from the two levels of overall and specific aspects. And based on theevidence-based research, to strengthen the ideological and theoretical education of civilservants、enhance the consciousness of self-cultivation of civil servants、improve theprofessional responsibility of civil servants、optimize their awareness to serve thepeople, increase the education of mass line, promote the communication with differentsocial sectors. Therefore, to establish a sound proposed rules and regulations to ensurethe integrity of civil servants, and optimize the mass media path to broadcast the imageof civil servants and other strategies to improve the image of civil servants, thenoptimize the improvement of the image and ideological and political quality of civilservants.
