Since the reform and opening up,there have been three large-scale departure boom of the civil service in China.The reason for this is that the government has been downsizing,forcing some civil servants to opt out.In the new era,with the deepening of anti-corruption work and the continuous development of administrative system reform,some civil servants have the idea of turnover intention or the action of quit the office.In the survey,one of the important reasons why civil servants are leaving their position is that they are not able to get the superior leaders recognition and help from the colleagues,and then the lack of supporting from their spouses and friends.This paper is based on the study of this background,taking 300 samples of civil servants in Shanghai as an example to study the effect of the social support on the turnover intention of Shanghai civil servants.Statistical analysis of the results of the survey found that Shanghai on-the-job officeholder is characterized by: generally younger and younger team,mostly 26 to 30 years old,high level of education background,mostly from grass-roots civil servants,the number of years of employment is mainly around three years.On the basis of studying conscientiously,get the following conclusion: firstly,from the point of confirmatory factor analysis for the quit intend,Shanghai civil servants' social support(supervisor support,colleague support,spouse support and friend support)has negative effect on employee turnover intention,embodied in that the higher the social support(supervisor support,colleague support,spouse support and friend support)is,the lower the civil servants turnover intention is.Secondly,by analyzing the AMOS path structure,the supervisor support through the intervening variable between job satisfaction and organizational commitment effect on the job search behavior of the Shanghai civil servants,and then through the intervening variable of the job search behavior affecting the turnover intention of the Shanghai civil servants.The spouse support is mainly effect on the turnover intention of Shanghai civil servants through the intervening variable of job search behavior.And the colleague support and friends support is directly affected by the turnover intention of Shanghai civil servants.Some of the results of this study suggest that job search behavior may not be the former dependent variable of the intention to quit and certain variables don't need to function through intervening variables.For example,colleague support and friend support,directly affect the intention of leaving the office without any intervening variables.Finally,to reduce the Shanghai civil servants intention,the following reasonable suggestions are proposed: the acquisition of Shanghai civil servants from fostering social support,the implementation of humanized management,focus on demand analysis,to help grass-roots civil servants solve difficulties in life,guiding the civil servants to handle the interpersonal relationships,and so on.
