| Nowadays, with the booming of network anti-corruption campaign and its increasing enthusiasm of public participation, it is desirable to explore the utility of network anti-corruption in the national anti-corruption system, China.To begin with the selected34typical network anti-corruption cases occurring from Jan2012to Oct2014, this thesis explores the whole story of the network anti-corruption. It analyzes the problem from four aspects:main source of the network exposure, type of the reported cases, regional and professional distribution of the cases, forms of the network anti-corruption. In the meanwhile, this thesis also discusses the efficiency of network anti-corruption from following aspects:report authenticity, case closure analysis, limitations and advantages of network anti-corruption and importance of network anti-corruption in Chinese anti-corruption system.Based on the above analysis, it concludes that the network anti-corruption achieves promising social effects with comparatively low social cost. However, there are also a series of problems aroused in the network anti-corruption such as false report, privacy violation and etc. Moreover, the utility of network anti-corruption mainly concentrates on exposing, reporting and supervising the corruption. However, in the stage of trying corruption cases and executing punishment, its effectiveness is still limited and depends on the will of government leaders.In order to achieve more effective network anti-corruption, some suggestions for network anti-corruption are given in the thesis including establishing the legislation, improving the regulations, educating the high-quality netizens, promoting interaction between network and traditional anti-corruption, etc. Finally, such advices as establishing real-name reporting scheme, promoting property disclosure system, building a network anti-corruption platform and teams, establishing a sunshine government, etc., in the process of network anti-corruption, are proposed. |
