In 2008, the financial tsunami from the United States swept across the world. Most of the countries in the world economy suffering from the rapid collapse are still "permanently". At the same time, in the east of the world, the Chinese government has deliberately got through the financial crisis, and maintained a steady growth in the economy, showing a thriving scene. This led to the international community paying close attention to China. The analysis found that Chinese government can concentrate on doing big things, which is referred to by scholars as the "China model". The characteristic of this mode is the highly centralized power in the central government. On the political system, the Nationalists consider it "very good", the power of highly concentrated to let China build up the Nation——state, to realize the industrialization, and maintain the competitiveness in the world; Liberals believe that the system is "terrible". The power of highly concentrated will lead to tyranny, and powerful public power will violate citizens’ private rights, making individual rights can not be guaranteed or the Democratic—— state construction can not be achieved. After analyzing these views, we found that the two sides are in the argument of a problem: Is the politics of centralization of Chinese state power good or not? Professor Zou Dang called the political model formed form modern China "Totalistic Politics".This paper will find the source of “Totalistic Politics ”formation in China in a global perspective on the theory of "Nation——state" as the analysis tools.
