Humanistic Thoughts’ Interpretation Of The “Chinese Dream”

After the 18 th CPC National Congress, Xi Jinping put forward the important strategic thought “Chinese Dream”, and continually made further elaboration on it. Whereafter, this thought became the focus of society’s common attention, and caused great discussion of academic and theoretical circle at home and abroad. The Chinese Dream contains extensive humanistic thoughts. The words that “achieve country’s prosperity, revitalize the nation, and bring about the happiness of the people” win agreements of people who yearn for happy life at home and abroad, and have important guiding significance to China’ further development. From the aspects of connotation, origin, basic content, value and significance, and practice approach, this paper conducts a comprehensive research on the Chinese Dream and its humanistic thoughts through various methods, so as to guide Chinese in building the socialism with Chinese characteristics better.The paper is arranged in the following ways:In the introduction, it briefly generalizes the background of putting forward Chinese Dream and its research significance, sums up the main research achievements and opinions of its humanistic thought, and introduces the research methods, innovations and disadvantages. In the first chapter, it mainly elucidates the connotation of the Chinese Dream that “achieve country’s prosperity, revitalize the nation, and bring about the happiness of the people”. In the second chapter, it elucidates humanistic thoughts’ origins of the Chinese Dream that include traditional humanistic thoughts in ancient Chinese culture, humanistic thoughts of modern western countries, humanistic thoughts of Marx and Engels, and humanistic thoughts of Marxist chinesization before the 18 th CPC National Congress. In the third chapter, it mainly elucidates the basic contents of the Chinese Dream that the China Dream is the dream of people’s happiness, regards people’s interests as the ultimate destination of Chinese Dream, and regards the people as the practical subject. In the forth chapter, it proposes humanistic thoughts’ practice approaches of the Chinese Dream that consolidating the economic foundation of well-off society, governing the Party strictly and comprehensively, insisting on the mass line, and establishing and implementing the laws and institution. In the fifth chapter, it mainly elucidates humanistic thoughts’ contemporary value of the Chinese Dream. In theoretical aspect, humanistic thoughts of the Chinese Dream inherit Marxist historical materialism, embody the theory of human’s overall development in Marxism, and enrich the guidance theory of developing the socialism with Chinese characteristics. In practical aspect, humanistic thoughts of the Chinese Dream consolidate people’s confidence and determination of pursuing happy life, clear the development direction of Chinese Socialism road, and are conductive to improving the Party’s governing capabilities and administrative level.Humanistic thoughts of the Chinese Dream play a vital role in the future development of China. Only if understand it comprehensively and implement it into practice seriously, the ambitious goal can be achieved successfully.
