All living things need activities and recess. From ancient times to the present,leave has been a system regulating our labor and rest.In modern society,our labor time is becoming short and the rhythm of life is speeding up.Our system of leave must keep pace with this change.Paid annual leave is a new method which is widely used by the western society in recent one hundred years.It not only meets the needs of employees to rest,but also maintains the economic interests of the workers during the vacations.In addition,paid annual leave is different from many methods of leave that can only follow provisions of the law,which can be determined by both sides negotiated.In summary, because of the paid annual leave having a variety of functions and high flexibility,it has the value of research.The framework of this thesis is that compare the recent system of Chinese paid annual leave and the perfect system of French paid annual leave to find out problems an solutions in our country.According the theme of paid annual leave,this thesis adopts the following research method:First,the method of literature research.By reading the relevant literature,I can understand the basic structure and the current situation of implementation of Chinese paid annual leave.Secondly,the method of the comparative analysis.By researching the system of French paid annual leave,I can put forward the improved suggestion to our country.Thirdly,the method of analysis case.By researching case of paid annual leave,I can find the shortcoming of Chinese paid annual leave and propose solutions.Apart from introduction and conclusion,this thesis can be divided into three parts:Chapter 1:This chapter introduces the origin and significance of the system of paid annual leave.It is clear that the relations and difference of paid annual leave and other methods of leave.It describes the historical development and the current situation of implementation of Chinese paid annual leave.It studies the labor parties rights of arrangements towards Chinese paid annual leave.Chapter 2:This chapter compares the system of Chinese paid annual leave and the system of French paid annual leave at length.To find out shortcomings and problems in our paid annual leave,it compares three aspects of China and France that is about the subject of annual leave,allowance of annual leave and the compensation of annual leave.Chapter 3:This chapter explores that how to improve Chinese paid annual leave on the basis of Chapter 2.The first section summarizes the applications of France paid annual leave system towards our country.The second section describes the problems of rewards and punishments measure which Chinese paid annual leave system is facing,and how to solve it.The third section explores that the problems of the amount of compensation and the number of day off that is about “additional paid annual leave”and search the way to deal with it.
