| Moral emotion education is an old and dearly important research topic.In Today’s society, with the rapid development of economy and science and technology, our education focuses on imparting knowledge while ignoring the cultivation of moral emotion, which results in moral indifference disease in our society. So our education should be strengthened to cultivate moral emotion. Adolescents are the future of our country.Therefore, it is essential to strengthen the cultivation of adolescents’ moral emotion.Moral imagination has injected fresh blood into this research topic.Moral imagination is a moral imagination.It is an ability which is related to morality, and able to imagine themselves in situations in which others and make ethical behavior choices.Moral imagination not only has deep ideological origins of Chinese traditional "Reciprocity" moral way of thinking, but also has psychological mechanism of moral empathy in modern psychology.Modern educators Dewey and contemporary philosopher Nussbaum have made discussion of moral imagination,which has laid a solid foundation on the theory.Because moral imagination emphasis on the individual put themselves in situations in which the imagination of others, think problems in perspective of others and feel the desire and need of others, which helps to cultivate compassion, love and cultural identity emotion. Moreover, the individual is able to understand the motives and desires of others by playing moral imagination, thus making fair and reasonable moral judgment and moral choices with humane care.Currently, the cultivation of adolescents’ moral emotion has made some achievement,but there are also issues such as lack of moral imagination. Specifically, the educational objectives are utilitarian, which emphasis too much on the role of knowledge and competence in moral education; Education methods are simple, which are mainly teacher-led instill knowledge model and emotional nurturing mode is marginalized; Teaching content is empty, which is not close to the actual emotion of adolescents;Education evaluation flats to academic Heroes.The reason for these problems is that education neglects the influence of the arts and humanities and emotional nurturing,and lack the nurturing environment of moral sentiments.Therefore, emotional education can set the Arts and Humanities courses to inspire moral imagination and enrich moral emotions, and use innovative ways such as role-playing and moral narrative to cultivate moral emotions and stimulate mobility.Meanwhile,family, school, community make joint efforts to create good moral emotion nurturing environment. |
