The Study Of Evidence-based Community Corrections

A valid path to promote the development of community corrections system in our country is to improve the scientific nature and effectiveness of community corrections work, evidence-based community corrections also arises at the historic moment. Evidence-based community corrections is a process that researchers, community corrections workers, correction object, managers synergy cooperate in the framework of evidence-based community corrections and on the basis of the best research evidence, formulate and implement correction plan in line with the will of the correct object. In the evidence-based community corrections which is based on "evidence", the correction plan is more scientific, correct relations tend to equality and correction methods are increasingly diversified. All this are help to improve the community correction effect and reduce the rate of recidivism.In this paper, we adopt literature research method and treat "evidence-based" as methodology, tries to through combing and analysis of the evidence-based correction practice both at home and abroad, follow the theory development of evidence-based correction to guide community corrections in our country. For this goal, this article first begin from the origin and development of evidence-based corrections, explore the nature of "evidence-based" from evidence-based medicine to evidence-based corrections, and analyze the positivism to provide the theoretical basis of evidence-based corrections. Secondly, this paper analyzes the characteristics and principles of evidence-based community corrections, in order to guide the building evidence-based community corrections in a specific. Again, analyze the necessity and feasibility of developing evidence-based community corrections from different aspects such as the risk society. Finally, this paper expounds the evidence-based community corrections program design and guarantee conditions, including the main body of evidence-based community corrections, evidence-based community corrections process, the establishment of information system and auxiliary mechanism.
