Natural view is the overall views about nature, the relationship between human and nature, and the fundamental views of the laws of nature by human. The development of natural view is ever-changing and historical, which has experienced the multiple periods of original worship view of nature, medieval theological view of nature, modern mechanistic view of nature and the diverse modern view of nature.There is a fundamental link between Engels’ studies on natural view and era of giant machinery which Engels lived. And the modern natural philosophy and German philosophy of nature both provide a theoretical basis for Engels’ natural view. On this basis, Engels’ natural view treated the relationship between man and nature as the main content, which elaborated on the interdependence of man and nature, the dialectical unity between human society and the nature and the approach to the "reconciliation" between man and nature.Engels’ view of nature made outstanding contributions for the development and changes of natural view, which not only achieved a new breakthrough view of nature in the time but also laid a theoretical foundation for the development of dialectical view of nature. Meanwhile, the practical significance Engels’ natural view inherent provided a theoretical basis and support for building a harmonious society and the construction of ecological civilization.
