The Goal based design of armored equipment system-of-systems(AESoS) is proposed with the concept of "target centric warfare" and "network centric warfare", which is a comprehensive idea about weapons’ demonstration. Concentrating on the new requirements brought by the military revolution, the design of AESoS is abstracted on overall level. The Goal is proposed as a standard to guide the structure design and alignments, which focus on the evaluation of completeness in different weapon scenario with different collaboration scheme.The idea of Goal based is the guidebook for AESoS design and a framework for weapon development.As an important method of AESoS design implementation, multiview modeling has been widely applied. While the support for weapon development demonstration is mostly confined to the description level, which does not possess the capbility of comprehensive data analysis across the view. The situation put forward urgent request for a transformation of multiview modeling from "product-centric" to "data-centric". How to evaluate in different stages of the Goal based AESoS design on the basis of the "data center" is aslo a core concern of our research. In the light of the difficulties and challenges, we proposed some related work.The main content and innovation points are as follows:(1) The Goal based AESoS design framework is proposed, which defines the core elements of AESoS and the logical relationship between them.We considered that the mutual influence among core elements is the driving power for achieving the design goal. The core elements that correspond to the concept of meta-model is also regarded as the foundation of AESoS assessment and "data-centric" transition for multiview modeling.(2) Transfer multiview products to multidimensional relation network model, which is a model filled with various nodes and complex relations. Scattered data are collected and integrated from different products to support the evaluation work. By defining the connotation of meta-model, the modeling standard of core products and the mapping relation between products and "data center", it become possible to implement model analysis and data mining with algorithm.And on this basis we can also analyzes the equipment support of operational activities.(3) Method of completeness evaluation for operational activities is proposed. In the framework of Goal based AESoS design, the research on goal satisfication assessment of operational activities is carried out on the basis of analysis result generated from the the multidimensional relation network model. By defining the weapon collaboration type, operational activities completeness, we construct the mathematical evaluation model based on entropy, and using an application example in the final analysis to evaluate the influence on operational activities completeness by changing the weapon collaboration scenario.
