Empirical Study Of Raman Spectroscopy Applied In The Altered Document Inspection

Raman spectroscopy is a very important method of analysising substances, Documented inspection experts for the application of Raman spectroscopy in the field of altered document examination have done some experimental studies to prove its using in the field of altered document examination, but they did not make systematic studies. This academic study aims at using multiple Raman spectroscopy to identify cases in the judicial field and summarizing the areas of domestic forensics. Currently, Raman spectroscopy has been applied to case study method scope, which includes the latest technological developments in the exchanges of judicial appraisal field to provide a reference material for forensic experts and scholars of the industry.This paper is divided into four chapters with sixteen sections. The first chapter of Raman spectroscopy overviews the scientific method, including the basic principles of Raman spectroscopy, the development history of Raman spectroscopy, and its characteristics and applications. The second chapter discusses the altered documents, including the basic theory of the altered documents, the classified of the altered documents, current situation and prospects of the development of altered documents. In the third chapter,the author classified four aspects of altered documents involving identity of documents,print documents, the authenticity stamp and printed text, the ordering analysis of the inkpad and handwriting, judging whether these four areas using Raman spectroscopy is feasible or not. The fourth chapter the author collects parts of typical cases to study, and divides it into four parts with identity of documents,print documents, the authenticity stamp and printed text, the ordering analysis of the ink pad and handwriting,In this paper, experimental studies and empirical research basic point inspection after the case is drawn: Raman spectroscopy in some areas of altered document examination can have better uses, such as in the type of test paper, stamps printed text identity testing, but its using in the ordering analysis of the inkpad and handwriting and writing implement identity is very limited, and hardly play a role in the test of formation time of a file.
