Social organizations of labor-rights in China are established in a unique political, economic and social system environment, and they are nonprofit community organizations that directly and primarily provide services to migrant workers. They play important roles in protecting workers’ legitimate rights and interests, resolving labor disputes, reflecting workers’ demands and helping to maintain social harmony and stability. But since 90’s, the time they were born, such organizations are in marginalized living conditions. The majority of them cannot obtain legal status and encounter numerous difficulties for their development, and they produce limited positive effect. Currently, the study of social organizations of labor-rights has been more concerned by theorist. However, such study is some fragment that it is one-sided. And there is no comprehensive analysis of the status, issues, causes and reform path of such social organizations. Therefore, a research of the social organization of labor-rights is not only of great practical value, but also has profound significance in theory.This study selects three officers of government and eight different areas of social organizations of labor-rights as main objects to conduct in-depth observations and researches by telephone or on-site interviews, and objectively analyzes the status quo and the problems of the social organizations of labor-rights. It concludes that, the main causes for the difficulty of their survival, development and operation are the prudential attitude of government, the lack of social approve and the deficiency of administration of the organization. The research comes to a conclusion that, emancipating mind and changing ideas are needed in the reform of social organizations of labor-rights. In addition, the reforming should stick to the idea of "Strict out" to liberalize the registration, and also strengthen the cultivation and the development and standardize the management, in order to promote a healthy development of these social organizations in comprehensive facilities strategy.
