The patriotism education is the etern al theme of Ideological and political education. Comparison of Ideological and poli tical education is a new subject; China began pioneering research in the Last century 90’s. The patriotism education is not only the important content of ideological and polit ical education of the Chinese but also one of the America civic educations content. The Chinese Patriotism education has m ade great achievements, but also has s ome shortcomings. Current academ ic research on Chinese patriotism education and Am erican’s with com parison has not been fully researched, deepen.
