Drill Quality Efficiency Evaluation Study Of Antiaircraft Soldier Unit Based On DEA

A profound reform is brought about by the new military revolution that is based on information technology. According to President Hu Jintao, the new military revolution does not only take place in military technology and organizational system, but in military management. We are required to strengthen concept of quality and benefit and try to produce high output with low input.With fast development of air-attack weapons and their wide use on battlefield, the threat to ground troops is increasing, which greatly enhances the importance of air defense troops. Therefore, scientific evaluation of the quality and benefit of their military training is becoming more and more significant.Based on the literature on quality and benefit of military training home and abroad, this thesis analyzes the choice and establishment of quality and benefit evaluation index in air defense training. It takes training time and expenses into consideration. Taking the results of annual training and maneuver of each unit as output index, this thesis analyzes the military trainings of six air defense units and evaluates their training efficiency by using Data Envelopment Analysis, and then finds out the input redundancy ratio and output inefficiency ratio of each battalion. From the results, it can be discovered that the current inefficient situation lies in several reasons, and it may be improved by increasing the input in some indexes. The method of DEA can help each unit make full use of the resources instead of only focusing on evaluating results, and it is advantageous to improve the military training efficiency.
