The Study Of Rural Women’s Informal Employment Under The Gender Perspective

Based on the research of the existing literature, developing the rural is focus of the construction of a well-of society in an all-round way, the difficulty of rural development lies in how to solve the rural women’s employment, but for a long time, the rural women under the influence of “man is superior to woman’s, it is unable to make then take the imitative to integrate into society.In order to understand the situation of women’s informal employment, difficulty and the reason to cause the difficulties of the situation, encourage them looking for employment actively, we carried out this study. The article is focused on the employment of the women workers of the stocking of northeastern in Liaoyuan. In response to these questions, we use research literature and empirical research, and in the empirical research process, the method of visiting key figures and participant observation were been used.The results are as follows:(1) 66 percent of rural women look upon economic independence and improve family status as main purpose. 62 percent of women’s employment opportunities come from personal recommendation;(2) 42 percent of rural women is affected by the heavy housework, 78 percent of them have to take care of the children or old man, and 40 percent of them were suffered varying degrees of family violence;(3) only 6 percent of the women were engaged in technical work;(4) the women workers in the stocking of northeastern in Liaoyuan just have one accident insurance.Through the above research and the investigation of respondents, we can draw the following conclusions:(1) the rural women of surrounding of Liaoyuan have strong informal employment will, but the way of obtain employment opportunity is too single.(2) There exists high pressure from family in the process of the informal employment of rural women.(3) The informal working women were lack of related skills training.(4) There is short of policies and regulations and related welfare about informal employment.
