Current Situation、Problems And Strategy Of The Development Of The Community Volunteer Service In Chongqing

Ministry of Civil Affairs defined volunteer community service as follows: "Community service is a community volunteer organizations in which individuals volunteering their time and skills as well as other resources in the community to provide assistance and services to residents, community philanthropy and public utilities." With the process of community building in Chongqing and the gradual transformation of government functions, community volunteer service is becoming an important form of organizational evolution of public services for the community. It has not only played an important role to meet the basic needs of community residents, to keep harmonious neighborhood relations and to promote good social climate, but also lays a solid foundation for building a harmonious society. Nowadays the study of community volunteer service is concentrated mostly on the necessity of community volunteer service, volunteer community service management mechanism, the residential factors and the development path of research involved in volunteer community service community service. By exploring the current situation in Chongqing volunteer community service and problems, the paper helps to compensate vulnerable groups lacking government and social support. Also, it promotes the development of community services and assists social workers to contribute to the integration of community resources in the community range. Most importantly, the paper can motivate effective volunteer service organizing by social workers.In this paper, with the current situation of the development of the community volunteer service in Chongqing city as the research object, through of community neighborhood committee, social work station visited the investigation and network information collection, a preliminary understanding of the community volunteer service providers, content and way to develop, and in accordance with the relevant theory of the type of division, and simple analysis. Next, combined with the results of our analysis, s community to carry on the case analysis, and volunteers from the community, the neighborhood committee members, community residents to conduct interviews, found that currently in Chongqing city the development of community volunteer service process are low proportion of volunteering in the community participation, community volunteer service content is single, community volunteer service lack of pertinence, community volunteer service, the administration of the four aspects of problems, to solve these problems we analyze the cause problem causes and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions.
