Research on the Current Situation and Measures of the Social Organization in Yangxi County To construct the social organization and to improve the function of serving the societyare the main task for the party and the state to complete the social management system and the strategic objective of building a harmonious society. In recent years, a large number of social organizations spring up in many developed areas and cities like Pearl River Delta, YangtzeRiver Delta and northeast region. For the better developmental foundation in coastal cities like Shenzhen and Guangzhou beside Hong Kong, the organizations there develop rapidly and also gather some good experiences and methods. As an undeveloped area, Yangxi county not only lags behind other developed areas in terms of economy, society and the people’s livelihood, but also the social organizations there start late and develop slow which are still in the initial stage of the process of development. In addition, there are still numerous problems need tobe solved in the aspects including funds, ideology, system and mechanism, supporting policies and quality of personnel. Upon the current situation of social organizations in Yangxi county, the writer finds out the existing problems and measures which can make the social organizations develop healthily and orderly and play a positive role in socialist modernization.Based on the detailed internal information collected from the social work committee andcivil affairs bureau and the investigation of the county level social organizations in Yangxi county by the means of field research, interview, etc., this paper does an intensive research onvarious social organizations including academic association, industry association and chamber of commerce and private non-enterprise organization. Also the writer had interviews with the department concerned to take their advice, and then integrates and analyzes the collected data based on relevant theories.Comparing with the Pearl River Delta, the social organizations in Yangxi county are stillin the initial stage of the process of development, also the county does not have standard management. Based on the reality of the county, the writer attempts to take the current developmental situation of the social organizations in Yangxi county as the object of study, combines theory and practice, investigates the current situation of the social organizations in Yangxi county to explore the main problems and reasons. Finally the writer put forward relevant measuresand suggestions which can be used as a reference to the construction and management of social organization in Ynagxi county and other undeveloped areas.
