Since ancient Greek philosopher Socrates proposed that people should “know yourself”, the problem of people has been the core issue of countless scholars’ explorations. Marx was one of the greatest thinkers and philosophers, who took “liberation of all mankind” as his lifelong pursuit, and he also concerned about the problem of people. Marx’s theory of thoughts on human beings has a rich source. Humanitarian ideas of the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, utopian socialism and German classical philosophy all provided a solid theoretical foundation for Marx’ s ideas. Marx’s ideas have undergone four stages: infancy, prototype, formation and deepening period. Marx’s humanistic thought is extremely rich, covering the human nature view, history view, human society and human values on many levels. Research on the theory of history is to serve the realistic society. Though Marx’s thoughts is old, it still has very important contemporary values. In the theoretical perspective, Marx’s ideas have a significant impact on contemporary western and domestic theory circle. In the perspective of practice, Marx’s thoughts of human studies is of great realistic significance for the development of domestic market economy, the progress of democratic politics, the prosperity and development of ideology and culture and the construction of harmonious society.
