A Study Of Marx’s Early Thought Of Human Beings’ Overall Development

The thought of human beings’ overall development plays a significant role in the theoretical system of Marxism and one of the goals pursued by Marx himself in his revolutionary activities.The "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" put forward "improving the quality of the people and promoting the overall development of people",which embodies the people-centered development idea.The purpose of development is for people,the value of development points to people,and the driving force for development comes from people.The exploration of Marx’s early thoughts on the overall development of people still has important theoretical value and practical significance in the contemporary era.Based on Marx’s early texts and related research results,this article studies the background,development process,main content and contemporary value of Marx’s early thoughts of human beings’ overall development.The development of the capitalist economy has made the working class even more impoverished,leading to the continuous intensification of class contradictions,which inspired Marx’s research on the overall development of human beings.At the same time,the personal life experience of Marx and Engels also influenced the generation of the thought of human beings’ overall development.Ancient Greek philosophers’ thinking on "human development",the Renaissance and the Enlightenment’s exploration of "human liberation",Hegel and Feuerbach’s interpretation of "human nature" and the utopian socialists’ vision of "human development" have become the source of Marx’s thoughts on the overall development of human beings.The development process has experienced four periods,from Differences between Democritus’s Natural Philosophy and Epicurean’s Natural Philosophy to The German Ideology.They started to pay attention to human development,pursue human freedom and rationality,pursue the liberation of people and understand the man of practice,respectively.As far as its main content is concerned,the four aspects of "realistic people","freedom","human liberation" and "practice" have been implemented consistently and are mutually exclusive.Among them,the realistic man is the starting point of all research,and the pursuit of freedom is the driving force,the revolutionary goal of the proletariat,and one of man’s social ideals."Human liberation" is a prerequisite,including natural liberation,social liberation and self liberation.Social practice is the fundamental way to realize the human beings’ overall development.Studying Marx’s early thoughts on the overall development of humans will help to broaden and deepen the research on Marx’s human thoughts,provide theoretical support for "The Chinese Dream",and in a practical sense,contribute wisdom to the development of a community with a shared future for mankind and provide guidance for the cause of human rights in China,and also provide important guidance for ensuring poverty alleviation.
