Research On Toy Developing And Designing Of Thpsychological Needs Of The Elderly In China

With the acceleration of Chinese aging of population, it produces all sorts of problems can not be ignored. Especially in our country is still in the early stages of elderly career, up to now, it is lack of some designed products for the old people. This paper will be based on this premise, and it takes the old people’s toys as a breakthrough point, analyzes the elderly ’s demand to the toys and the toys will play a positive role in it meanwhile, the development of this kind of toys will can promote the development of toy industry in China. Also, it will make an great contribution to expanding the industry of aging.This paper divided into six parts based on the physical and psychological traits,Conclusions are drawn for design influence and utilization.Then, it elaborates the concept, types and functions of the old people’s toys. Systematically analyzing the status of recreational life of the elderly.It can be concluded that the present condition, problems and reasons of the old people’s toys. In the fourth part,it analyzed the present market both at home and abroad emphatically. The old people’s toys gave us some enlightenment.It expounds consumer spending systematically in this ares. And it combines with the physical and mental characteristics and psychological needs, the author puts forward the layout and strategy, the discussion was draw from the design thoughts of toys, elements, principles in various aspects. As to the strategy,it including product, brand, packaging, advertising, price, service, sales promotion, etc. Finally, according to the transformation of children’toys, the author launched the old people’s toys design practice, it verified that the development old people’s toys and design methods.The aging of population in our country brings a series of problems, designers will face new challenge in this ares. The design methods couldn’t only satisfy the physiological needs, but also from the point of psychology of aging, people should pay more attention to their emotional, psychological needs, from the point of view of spiritual feeling to keep an eye on them. Thus it was more suitable to the old psychological and physiological demands, enhance their enjoyment of life in a lonely old age and enrich the rich entertainment life, give their more spiritual comfort.Compared with traditional toys, the main characteristics of this paper was able to combine the physical and psychological traits of the elderly in the design, the psychological needs of the elderly (mainly the concept of emotional communication and entertainment and health care)melt into the design,it provides a systematic method for the development of elderly’s toy.Concurrently,it provides a theoretical and practical references to the designers who engaged in related research in the future.
