Following the acceleration of domestic political revolution progress, all kinds of political trust problems of youth caused in information-based society have become the hot topic in academic field. Just as what famous American political scholar Samuel Huntington said, "Modernity breeds stability while modernization process creates turmoil." Increasingly active multiple benefits subjects have actively participated in political and social life. At the same time, corruption exists in the Party. The gap between the reach and the poor in the society is enlarged. In addition, the fast distribution of internet and other new media and the instigation from western countries, some youth even express their political appeal in a violent manner, which significantly challenges the credibility and legitimacy of the Party and the government. Social transformation is the most fragile period requiring political support and trust to the largest degree. Issues are the voice of an age and heart of people are the most important politics. At the critical moment China is entering into a comprehensively in-depth reform, study on political trust is urgent and necessary. Based on the perspective of ideological and political education, the paper studies political trust of modern youth and obtains the conclusion that overall political trust degree is pretty high and is converting from personality trust at the beginning to system trust. Based on this foundation, specific analysis is carried out and complete strategy has been proposed regarding the insufficiency of Chinese youth’s trust for the purpose of providing guidance and reference to promote the Party and the nation’s improvement practice of the youth’s political trust.
