Urban Community Retired Elder CPC Members’ "Weak Participation" And Group Work Involvement

Urban retired elder CPC members are special groups involved in social work. With their ages growing,CPC members who was active in the unit gradually relegate to the community, they are potential resources in the development of community, they are community construction supervision power, they are a key support to community activities, so it is important for community development and construction to disinter and utilize urban retired elder CPC members. However, our country government and academic pay little attention to urban retired elder CPC members at present, and mainly focus on their material life satisfaction and party spirit keeping, failing to incorporate them to community construction team. In the community activities, they are mainly act as spectators and participants, existing “weak participation”,showing the way of community participation in passive, participation role of recipient, intermittent participation, sidelines identity, and my research significance lies in mining urban retired elder CPC members’ advantages, activating urban retired elder CPC members, forming urban retired elder CPC members service team to help others, sharing their outlets for the community construction and provide their ideas for the community development.This article refer to domestic and abroad data about urban retired elder CPC members and community activity participation, combine the theory of advantage perspective theory, base on national "love lets sunshine more bright and beautiful" project, by utilizing the method of group work, investigate the target group of C city S community organizations and activities, aiming at organizing them, called on them to participate in community activities. In community activity, they are organizers instead of participants, they are long participation instead of intermittent, they help others instead of being helped, they are active participation instead of passive participation. Study on the community activity attended problem of urban retired elder CPC members, I divide five chapters, the first chapter focuses on the research background and significance, research ideas and methods, the research of innovation point and the difficulty. The second chapter is mainly theoretical analysis, including the definition of key concepts, the existing literature review and the related theory basis in this paper. The third chapter is based on a questionnaire survey and interviews of urban retired elder CPC members to assess, including participation assessment, capability assessment and advantages of participation assessment and participation difficulty assessment. The fourth chapter is the description of group work involving in them. The last chapter put forward suggestions : expand social work social influence, improve social identity; activate urban retired elder CPC members, dig their advantages; construct platform and link community resources for them; establish urban retired elder CPC members’ activity team and so on.
