With the development of the times and social change, the function of Frontier Defense Forces are also engaged in a little change. From the beginning of 2004,Frontier Defense Forces recruit a large-scale graduates from colleges and universities and then Frontier Defense Forces have brought vitality. But it would bring a lot of problems in management. In addition, the development of cadres is limited in particular system, so cadres have no minds on their work.They are always thinking about the second choice to create more development for their own career.These factors make the management of Frontier Defense Forces into the bottleneck period. In this article, it can be used as a reference for improving the management mode of Frontier Defense Forces and adapting to the development of the times which introduced the concept of performance management in the army.It summarized a theoretical basis for performance management which was suitable for the development direction of the Frontier Defense Forces, and it analyzed cadres management present situation and problems in a certain Frontier Defense Detachment from the perspective of performance management, accordingly,it proposed the viewpoint that existing management models had restricted the growth of cadres advances in a certain Frontier Defense Detachment, at the same time I believed that it can be more standardized, more scientific, more practical for the cadres management in Frontier Defense Detachment with the construction of performance management system, in order to promote the vigorous development of business with a certain Frontier Defense Detachment.
