The Research On The Home Security Of Left-behind Children

Children are the hopes of his family, and alsothat of nation,whetherthey can grow up safely, not only relates to every family’s happiness, but also the rise and fall of motherland in the future.Therefore,it is the responsibility for every family to protect the safety of children, so is the government. Left-behind children are large social groups that are special and vulnerable.They lack of parents’ protection,and they have difficulty in getting the government’s protection, which makes the left-behind children safety threatened by many factors,causing many safe problems of left-behind children.Thehome security issue of Left-behind children is a kind of cancer to endanger the safety of children’s growth, which not only brings misfortune to many rural families, but also causes irreparable damage to the country. In order to accurately understand the present situation of left-behind children home security, this paper researches into the rural community, and into the left-behind children’s family by carrying out the questionnaire and paying on-the-spot visit. This study will have a quantitative evaluation of influence on children’s home security environment from the following aspects:kitchen, bathroom, guest, dining-room, balcony, and supplemented by the case coming from field survey to have a qualitative description,and eventually form the multi-level understanding of left-behind children safety environmental risk. On this basis, this study regards incidence of accidental injury as the dependent variable and thinks of unsafe factors and accident risk index as independent variables to have the regression analysis and cross-table analysis.The data showsthe safety risks that occupy the home of left-behind children are under the influence ofvarious unsafe factors and risk factors. At the same time, the interview data of the case also shows that the problem was affected by family economic ability, product quality factors, guardians factors and business insurance buying factors.To solve the problem of left-behind children’s safe, we must give full play to the power of both family and government. On the one hand, the government should not onlyimprove the rural migrant workers families’ home condition through a variety of fiscal and taxation policies, but also prohibit substandard Child family household products into the marketthrough the more strict laws, to create a safe environment for left-behind children. On the other hand, migrant workers families should cooperateclosely with government. Parents should learn the knowledge and skills to protect the safety of the children’s homesafety, and implement the responsibility of good children’s guardianearnestly.
