Research On Community Medical Rehabilitation Services Of The Disabled In Shenyang

With the continuous development of the disabled and the deepening of the concept of rehabilitation for the disabled, our country pay more and more attention to the disabled community medical rehabilitation services. The disabled rehabilitation work is to help disabled persons regain normal functions or compensate for lost functions, improve the quality of survival and enhance the ability of social participation. It is the core and foundation for the disabled, is also an important means of building a harmonious society. The basic measures to realizing the goal of "universal access to rehabilitation services" is to develop community rehabilitation services, while the community medical rehabilitation as part of community rehabilitation services is the mental and physical health of the disabled. It occupies an important position in the content of community rehabilitation, is the base and starting point of community rehabilitation and is the premise and guarantee for realizing the objective of the community rehabilitation.Through investigating some community and community health service center in Shenyang, interviewing community workers, community staff, community residents and people with disabilities, and through questionnaire survey to the disabled and their families about the needs of rehabilitation services, to understand the current status of Shenyang community medical rehabilitation services supply, demand and the satisfaction of the demand for the disabled, to analyze the current development of community medical rehabilitation services to the disabled in Shenyang. Through the study,it found that the current Shenyang community medical rehabilitation community rehabilitation services exist serious basket case, the obvious contradiction between supply and demand of medical rehabilitation services, low levels of medical rehabilitation services, the low using level of Medical rehabilitation services, etc. Thus, putting forward counter suggestions to perfect the Shenyang community medical rehabilitation services from the government, communities, people with disabilities and their families, members of the other community, volunteer organizations.
