The Construction Of New Rural Political Culture In The Background Of The Rural Governance

The political culture has great effect on all aspects of political system through acting on social members’ community consciousness and psychological. It guides the direction of political system and even the whole society, also it shapes culture quality for all citizen. Rural political culture is the weakest part of the whole political culture system in our country. And compared to the city, rural area is relatively backward in political and economic aspects for variety of reasons. villagers’mind were influenced by traditional culture greatly, still existing thought of "subject". But with the development of commodity economy and the implementation of the reform and open policy, the transition of China’s economic and political system in social transformation period has caused the change of rural residents’views and values. On the one hand, the democratic consciousness is rising and the civic culture begins to appear. On the other hand, some ideas such as money worship, individualism has taken hold and had impact on villagers’ values. In this way, the rural political culture appeared diversity and heterogeneity. In addition, the popularity of Internet is increasing channel of accepting information and expressing interest demand for villagers. But if we can not hold this double-edged sword correctly, it will take bad effects for our society. Recently, there were a lot of research about rural governance, and it is to be concerned for scholars as a new mode of solving realistic problem. So, we can make rural governance as a management means to rural political culture, and the healthy development of rural political culture, in turn, will promote the process of rural governance. Therefore, in the background of the rural governance, this article owns following several subjects: through making economic development foundation, establishing the ideology basis, improving the legal system, making the standard of grassroots democracy system, and making full use of Internet resources. Through the above measures, villagers could accept advanced scientific political thought or theory, improve political cognitive level, enhance consciousness of political participation and political beliefs, and form scientific political values finally. Thus, it could produce new and vigor of political culture, promoe the pace of grassroots democracy, and maintain social stability.This article mainly adopts interview method, questionnaire survey method, and comparative analysis to study rural political culture in the background of rural governance. Firstly, exploring the historical evolution of the rural political culture, and analyzing its influence factors. Secondly, this article study the status of rural political culture through through the method of interview and questionnaire. Then find present development dilemma of rural political culture. At last, this paper propose solutions in how to innovate and develop rural political from the perspective of principle, aim, contents, subject and path of the construction of rural political. In fact, this new rural political culture also has great significance for improving rural governance and maintaining social stability.
