The establishment and im provement of the party inspection system is an i mportant measure to strengthen the party’ s construction, supervision, and fur ther carry out the construction of anti-corruption in the new pe riod. The Sixteenth National Congress of the CPC requires the party "to establish and improve the inspection system ". The Party Constitution Amendment case of the Sevent eenth National Congress of the CPC and The inner party supervision regulation of Communist Party of China(for trial implementation) clearly stipulates, the party’ s central and prov incial, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Committee to implement the inspection system. This article studies the basic structure, working m ethods, and main functions of the inspec tion system from the basic connotation and operation m echanism. Review of the restoration and developm ent of the party’s inspection system since the reform and opening up. Analysis of the necessity and urgency of im proving and perfect ing the pa rty’s inspection system. The inspe ction system needs to be further clear func tional orientation, improve the institutional mechanisms and the quality of the team, optimize the social environment and other issues. Then strengthen the role of the status, improve the leadership system and work mechanism, improve the quality of the team, strengthen the protection m echanism and other measures.
