In recent years, a large number of the post-80s have entered the civil servants, and gradually become an integral part of administrative departments at various levels in China. Because the post-80s young civil servants are born and raised in a particular era, they have the obviously different characteristics comparing with the civil servants of other era. It shows strong personality, more independent thoughts, special focusing on fair and advocating personal value at work. Therefore, the leaders have to use new thinking, new methods, new system to manage the post-80s young civil servants.At present, the incentive mechanism construction for civil servants of our country have made great progress. But most of the current incentive mechanism for civil servants are designed for the whole and less consider of the special group, especially the existence of the post-80s young civil servants. The current incentive mechanism has some problems in practice, for instance, it is low pertinency and not enough to motivate the post-80s young civil servants. So, it should establish a set of effective incentive mechanism for the post-80s young civil servants.In this paper, under the background of the civil servant incentive mechanism research and based on the theory of classical incentive theory, it puts the post-80s young civil servants of Wuhai as a study case. Starting from the data of questionnaire and interview,together with the present situation of Wuhai civil servant incentive mechanism,it expounds some problems that exist and carries on the reason analysis.It also tries to have a targeted exploration to establish the post-80s young civil servants incentive mechanism on the basis of the current incentive mechanism of Wuhai civil servants.
