Energy is an inportant support for national economic development and socialstability,it plays a vital role in the national and international social development. Thelocation of energy production, the path of its transportation and the distribution of itsconsumption is constantly changing with the time changing, which changes the the energyterritory. After the World War II to1980s,petroleum mainly was exploited in America andtransported to Europe, From1980s to the early twenty-one century, the exploitation is inthe Middle East and near resulted in many arguments. Currently, international energyappeared new changes, nonconventional energyinjected new vitalitytoshape theinternational energy territory via unconventional energy such as oil sands and shale gas.Each power continues to adjust the energy energy policy and energy political patternappeares new changes.With the development of economic globalization,the energy demand is increasing.On the one hand, energy prices sharp rising makes competition violently in the explorationand development of energy and market. On the other hand, the interdependence of energybrings the energy cooperation between the region and the power into a new stage. Thedislocation with the production and demand for energy itself, typically like oil on behalf ofthe conventional energy, flourishes the energy diplomacy. Due to the intersection ofenergy and geopolitical competition from the usage of geopolitical method to expandenergy diplomacy by relevant countries, the situation becomes more complicated andbrings great impact to the existing international relationship and geopolitical pattern. Afterthe World War II to1980s, various countries contest oil for their economic developments,especially the two superpowers of the Soviet Union who built the Middle East as a safetycushion of southern borders under the implementation of active defensive global strategyand the USA who considered the Middle East as part of America global strategy to containthe expansion of the Soviet union. America took energy hegemony strategy from1980s tothe early twenty-one century,.The main energy powers focus tremendous energy demandin Asia Pacific even in global, China is an important energy demand power,it can notavoid some challenges in the process of varied national energy diplomacy. To beat thechallenges, it is helpful for the adoption of proper policy to research the internationalenergy territory changing and relevant national geopolitics,and it is helpful China’sgovernment formulate a reasonableenergy security strategy.
