China's Energy And Economic Environment (3e) To Coordinate The Development Of Research And Policy Options

From the beginning of the new century, the development of Chinese economy is now keeping very fast speed, however, it is also facing many difficulties. The conflict of Energy. Environment and Economy (3E) is one of the most serious one and it has become more and more intensive Considering either the benefit of China its own, or for the world Environment-protect order, our country have to deal with the problem quickly and effectively. For this reason, we have to make a research on the 3E system and its developing rules, and to found the policies of our own which can keep the 3E system balanced in China generally with developing of the economy. This is exactly the aim of this dissertation.The whole of the dissertation is consisted of eight chapters. The Chapter I raises the central question, explains the purpose of the study, states the advance of 3E system's study in the world, and compares the study in China with abroad. The Chapter 2 recalls and summarizes development of China on energy, environment and economy. The Chapter 3 discusses the relationship between energy and natural sources and population, economy and environment. The Chapter 4 discusses the relationship in the 3E system and the conflict rules generally. The Chapter 5 and the Chapter 6 give the general balance principle and the evaluating index of the 3E system, criticize the old economic concept and make the 3E general balance model which prefers the energy structure. The Chapter 7 calculates the 3E's balance index of China in 1990s, compares the changing trend between the old energy structure and the new one in the United States. It also reviews and compares the energy development strategy before the open and reform thereafter in China. The Chapter 8 gives the principle and the proposals to deal with Chinese 3E relationship by practicing the theory and the method of the 3E general balance.The end explains the deeper problems arising from this dissertation, which should be studied continuously, and points out the directions of the research based on the dissertation.
