Research On The Transformation Of Economic Function Played By County Government

County economic is an important part of national economic. It plays a basic role for the development of national economic. County economic is the small unit of national economic, only if it goes well, then, the national economic can run smoothly and fast.The decisive factor for the development of county economic is the effect of economic functions played by the local government. Local government has to follow the market rules, organizes and coordinates local production factors, monitors economic activities in its own region and optimizes resource allocation. Under such condition, then, the county economic can run well. As the economic situation changes from time to time, the economic functions need to reposition in order to promote the growth of county economic. The reposition of economic functions of local government, not only is important to the growth of its own economic, but also important to the whole national economic, especially because, the economic development of China has entered a new era. The economic growth is quite stressful. The economic of China is experiencing a multiple-stage, which is the stage of changing period for growth speed, the stage of tough period for structural adjustment and the stage of processing period for policy stimulus. These conditions put forward new requirements for local government to play its economic functions.This thesis is based on the investigation of WuChuan County, analyses the transformation of economic functions of local government, by using the theories and methods of public management, hoping for the guidance for the development of county economic and the transformation of economic functions of local government for WuChuan County and counties such as WuChuan County.
