In recent years, the progress of science and technology drives the economy to develop rapidly. Under the background of rapid economic development, the practicability of network technology can be the most outstanding part, especially the online shopping, which can be a new way of consumption at present. According to statistics, by the year 2014, China’s online shopping deals had reached 2.8 trillion yuan,had an increase of 47.4%,the total volume of retail sales of social consumer goods annual permeability got above 10% for the first time.Represented by Alibaba’s online service platform as Taobao, Tmall,their sales of double tenth in 2014 reached 57.1 billion yuan.It is expected that China’s online shopping market trend will continue to grow in the next few years. Thus the network shopping not only brings the convenience to consumers, but also plays an important role on the development of national economy.But emerging shopping mode has great difference with the traditional mode of shopping and consumer know about goods only rely on information released by operator, such as product pictures, text as reference. In this mode, we can not distinguish the pros and cons of the quality realistically, the consumer can be easily misled by false advertisements, which really violates the consumer rights. At present, in the Consumers Rights and Interests Protection Law,the protection of online shopping is also imperfect.This article does the analysis and research focused on online consumers’ right to know, to give suggestions for perfecting the online consumers’ right to know in our country.The text is divided into five parts.The first part tells the related overview of the consumers’ right to know under the network environment.To use the definition and characteristics of the network shopping to define the consumers’ right to know, do further analysis of features of online consumers’ right to know.The second part tells the necessity of the protection of online consumers’ right to know.The existence of rights is based on the state, the country’s economic, political, and social development is the foundation of the state.This part bases on the consumers’ right to know in China, analyzes the necessity of protecting consumers’ right to know with reference on the important significance of the protection of online consumers’ right to know.The third part, the analysis of formation reasons and the behavior of infringing on the consumers’ right to know under the China’s online shopping platform. This part does deep research of the reasons for the formation of infringement related on cases in real life to analysis the behavior which infringe on online our country’s consumers’ right to know currently, such as the false advertising, online shopping operators’ fake identity information contained.The fourth part shows the study of online consumers’ right to know protection legislation abroad, mainly to study the foreign advanced legislation.The fifth part, the paper expounds China’s present situation of protection of online consumers’ right to know. The study is mainly about China’s relevant laws and regulations and the implementation subject of the online consumers’ right to know protection. Combined with foreign advanced legislation above, which can be used for reference to provide a clear direction of the perfection of the online shopping consumer right protection legislation in our country.The sixth part is about the suggestions of perfecting the protection of consumers right to know under the background of our country’s online shopping environment. This text mainly put forward suggestions from aspects such as establishing the system of protection mechanism, the strict the operators’ information disclosure system, strict administrative supervision mechanism, perfecting the dispute settlement mechanism, strengthening consumer consciousness of law and human rights, comprehensive protect online consumers’ right to know in our country, promote the development of China’s online market economy.
