Legal Thinking On Solving The Problems In Frontier Trades Between China And North Korea

Since the reform and opening up, China is more and more opening to the world. Chinese regional economic integration is developing continuously. The internationalization of the RMB is moving forward. Chinese frontier trades are expanding obviously. The account settlement businesses of frontier trades between China and its neighboring countries are increasing. The original settlement policy gradually cannot meet the requirements of frontier trades. Especially when the frontier trade settlement system is in its primary stage, this system do not cover all areas. In the frontier trade, the circulation of the RMB and exchange is confused. The RMB overseas detections and exchange regulations are challenged by private acceptance agencies and the illegal currency trading market. Our country security is threatened.Frontier trades between China and Korea play an important role in frontier trades in the Northeast China, and they are also the key to Korean foreign trades. Under the tense international background in Korean peninsula, challenges and opportunities of trades between China and Korea coexist for a long time. The overseas economic development of North Korea will mainly based on the trades with China.Some exporting goods of China are essential but cannot be manufactured by the North Korea. Because of the geographical limitation, the frontier trades of North Korea only exist with China and Russia. However, because of the non-perfect settlement system, there is no direct exchange cooperative agreement between banks in border areas. This greatly limits the development of the border economy between China and Korea.This message bases on general theory of frontier trades and settlements, and is combined with the reality of Chinese border trades and settlement systems. Reasons for why the account settlement businesses of frontier trades between China and Korea are difficult are discussed in this dissertation. Refer to the successful cases of trade settlement agreements between China and Vietnam, some suggestions are given to improve system and to promote cooperation between China and North Korea. In order to solve the problems in frontier trades between China and Korea, some suggestions about strengthening education, improving the settlement system and promoting cooperations are offered. Hope this message helps to improve the settlement system of frontier trades, and promotes the frontier economic developments.
