Research On The Media Of Literature And Art To Foster And Carry Forward The Socialist Core Values

The eternal value of the literature and art is the pursuit of truth, good intention and perfection. The literature and art can accommodate the principles, content, requirements and other relevant information of ideological and political education, and can also interact with education object in deep thought. The literature and art play a unique role in the ideological and political education. The communist party of China has always attached great importance to use the media to carry out the ideological and political education and has gotten valuable historical experience. In recent years, Chinese leaders have emphasized numerous times the fact that the literature and art plays the unique role of cultivating and promoting socialist core values from the released documents successively.Therefore,it can be regarded as a great issue of practical significance to conscientiously sum up the historical experiences of using the media to carry out the ideological and political education, to dig deeper into the unique role of cultivating and promoting socialist core values and to analyze the era opportunities and to explore on the efficient paths of using the media of literature and art to cultivating and promoting socialist core values in the new period. This paper is divided into four parts as follows:On the basis of the essence of "the literature and art", the first part cleans up the relative conceptions, demonstrates the literature and art can become the important media of cultivating and promoting socialist core values and sums up the historical experiences of the media of literature and art to carry out the ideological and political education. The second part from the radiating surface, influence, attraction and effectiveness of literary and artistic works point out its unique significance in cultivating and promoting socialist core values. Combined with the present situation, development trend and people’s thought characteristics of the literature and art, the third part from two aspects of opportunities and challenges analyze the opportunities of using the media of literature and art to foster and carry forward the socialist core values. The fourth part draws lessons from historical experiences which the communist party of China used the media of literature and art to carry out the ideological and political education. The present challenges and opportunities faced by the media of literature and art in cultivating and promoting socialist core values, the fourth part of this paper also sets up the concrete strategies how to use the media of literature and art to foster and carry forward the socialist core values.
