Community is a category of the whole that is in a certain range of social organizations and collective in a certain extent. It is a small scale of macro society, the community is a part of a country, its development degree and degree of perfection can directly affect and reflect the development of a country is good or bad. Community economy is the floorboard of all economic activity in the community under the fixed range is an emerging economic activities, and economic activities and people’s lives have great relevance, but also an important indicator to measure a country’s level of development.In our country, the development of community economy has reached a new stage, but there are still some problems in the development stage. This paper is divided into six chapters. First, the paper introduces the reasons, objectives, methods, innovations and deficiencies of this paper. And based on the economic theory, this paper introduces the concept of community and community economy to introduce the relationship between community and community economy. In the third chapter, we introduce the history, significance, and future development of community economic development in China. In the fourth chapter, through the research on the development of community economy in Yanji, the author analyzes the current situation of Yanji community economic development in view of the characteristics of its ethnic minority areas, and the integration of the problems. And from the government level, the social organization level, the social enterprise level, the social level of the residents and the wisdom of the city level and other aspects of the economic development of the community in Yanji.
