Analysis Of Political Philosophy On Clique Phenomenon

Clique refers to psychological communities and alliances of interest that established by some groups and individuals who have the common political purpose,social background and economic interest within the formal organizations, in order to maximize the realization of their own interests. Clique phenomenon has been existed in various historical periods of our country, and clique dispute has seriously affected the operation of political power and the justice of society. For example, Disaster of Party Forbiddance in Han Dynasty, Niu-Li Factional Struggles in Tang Dynasty,Yuanyou Faction in Northern Song Dynasty, and Donglin Party Struggles in Ming Dynasty, etc. Although the gentleman party once played a positive role in history,during the course of the struggle, both parties can be emotional, and leave the organizational interests behind, resulting in increasingly chaotic organizational roles,and organizational goals can’t be achieved. In modern life, sectarianism, cliquism and special interest groups always continue to emerge despite repeated prohibition. All in all, either in ancient or modern societies, the prevalence of clique has seriously affected the normal operation of political power and the implementation of social justice.In ancient Chinese society, farming was the main way of life, and human beings lived together in the same land, kinship was a tie for people binding Thus, cliques that formed due to kinship and regional relations were the main types in ancient China.After the Han Dynasty, Officials Selection System of feudal society has undergone changes, while protecting the interests of large bureaucrat, the feudal rulers alsoprovided fertile soil for the clique-forming of disciples and old followers. In the formal organization, interests divergence of members, organizational goals conflict and roles differences are important reasons for the arising of clique.In this paper, it studies the generation reasons and main types of clique from political philosophy point of view and analyzes the influence of clique on political power, so as to solve problems specifically; in addition, it also learns the solutions and logical thinking of traditional political society to clique, takes history as a mirror, so as to provide new thinking resources for grasping and solving practical problems.
