A Study On The Role Problems And The Influencing Factors Of The Community Correction Social Workers

As a relative penalty manner with imprisonment, Community Correction advocates Community Correction inmates remain in the environment of the community to link each system in order to help Community Correction inmates be resocialized. In the context of the current social governance which asks participants to participate in the diversification of community correction, Community Correction is an important part of social governance. As one of the main forces of Community Corrections, social worker plays an important role. The role of cognition is the premise of action, and community correction social workers play different roles in the course of their work. Our country now is in the early stage of the Community Corrections, so identifying their roles in different circumstances to solve the problem role in the correction process is the important premise to establish a high-quality correction team, and analyzing the factors of influence to the Community Correction has important Significance. By reviewing the existing literature, most of the researchers put perspective on the specialization and profession of the Community Correction Social Workers, but rarely analyze their role issues. What’s more, most of the researches are based on the theory that positivism research is scanty. Based on this, the study aims to explore the role of problem of the Community Correction Social Workers by using quantitative research methods, and find the factors that affect the role cognition of the Community Correction Social Workers.This paper studies the role of Community Correction Social Workers, the role of the problem here includes the different roles of Community Correction Social Workers in different scenarios and the role ambiguity, role conflict in the practice. The social demographic variables, professional background, work experience, institutional standardization as independent variables are analyzed, the researchers find that these may affect the role cognition of the Community Correction Social Workers, and then give comments and suggestions based on influencing factors.
