Marxist Thought Of Social Development

Social Development has become the basic themes of our era. Academic researchers have been keen on this content and it is also an important part of Marxist theory. With the rapid development of society, Marx’s thinking on social development still plays an essential role on promoting human and social development.In the context of globalization, although productivity is developing rapidly and people’s ability to understand and transform the nature is getting stronger, but at the same time, Mankind is faced with the negative impact caused by the development. How will society better develop? This is what we need to think about. However, Marx’s Social Development Thought provides us guidance to think and solve this problem, therefore, the study of Marx’s Social Development Thought still has great significance in the contemporary.On the structure of argumentation, this paper is divided into three parts. The first Chapter is an observation on ideology evolution of historical social development, and it aims to illuminate early school of viewpoints on social development during beginning-period of capitalism, particularly that of G.W.H Hegel and Ludwig Feuerbach, and after inheritance of which with independent criticism, the birth and formation of Marxism. This line of development of thoughts may help us to understand better the growing routes of Marxism and its basic core values.The Second Chapter has our focus and it will state the main ideas of Marxism on social development. Marxism provides sophisticated and rich understanding on how society develops, and it can be presented out in various streams due to different approaches of study. This paper is to state from 4 perspectives:Laws of Social Development, Force of Social Development, Cost of Social Development, and Purpose of Social Development. These 4 perspectives are inter-connected and influence each other. It is of importance to illuminate the fundamental rules and regularity seen in process of social development, existence of which is believed as the prerequisite of social development study. Where the basic rules are acknowledged, we may proceed to the very question that, what force drives our society evolves, with respect to the Force of Social Development. While society moves forward, cost and sacrifice seems however unavoidable, therefore, we need to bring Cost of Social Development into our study. At last, we also try to answer the question that, what is the goal our social development and what the purpose is. Overall, these 4 subjects compose the main structure of Marxism on social development.The third Chapter is based on Social Development Thought of Marx to think about a number of issues. In fact Thoughts are used to guide practice, this paper discusses how to solve contemporary problems by Social Development Thought of Marx, which includes how to solve China and globalization issues.And by analyzing the contemporary development demand of Marx Social Development Thought with the contemporary Chinese social development to explore Marx thought’s binding point between its theory and practice, so as to promote the development of Marx Social Development thought in the contemporary use.
