E-government User Satisfaction Study Under The New Media Environment

New media is a new media way that is generated by the development of the Internet.Although it is present in a relatively short time,it is quickly followed and received by wide public and governments at all levels start to carry out e-government activities through new media way. Enhancing e-government user satisfaction evaluation under the new media environment and choosing rational, scientific and objective evaluation method to study e-government customer satisfaction are effective ways and means to determine the degree of perfection of e-government under the new media environment and whether it meets community people anticipation. Through evaluating e-government user satisfaction under the new media environment, it can help the government learn more about the questions exist in the e-government’s running in the background of rapid development of Internet, so that the problems can be targeted to solve and e-government can move in a favorable direction.However, there is no uniform standard to test the quality of e-government in the course of development of e-government,so the level of e-government construction varies and the depth research and analysis about e-government factors and user satisfaction under the new media environment is lack. Therefore, The thesis considered new media on the study of e-government user satisfaction and studied e-government user satisfaction model under the new media environment.In a specific study,the thesis divided e-government users into external and internal users on the basis of the characteristics of the new media, then regarded the new public management theory and e-government public services theory as theoretical basis,and introduced Davis’ s TAM model, customer satisfaction index model. Then, the thesis constructed e-government external users satisfaction evaluation model and internal users satisfaction evaluation model on the basis of analyzing the characteristics of e-government under the new media environment and the e-government public satisfaction measurement models constructed by the existing literatures. Afterwards the thesis designed questionnaire which was based on the satisfaction evaluation index system. Then making questionnaire on e-government satisfaction of internal staff and the public in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province.The thesis used AMOS to establish satisfaction models,then analyzed the data of the questionnaire to obtain the corresponding parameter values to test the measurement model and structural model so that it can clear the relationship among the respective latent variables. Finally, the thesis verified the validity of e-government external and internal users satisfaction models.At last,the thesis evaluated the satisfaction of E-government external and internal users with their satisfaction models,then analyzed the two satisfaction indexes.At last,it put forward suggestions for government to improve e-government system to further to promote e-government system to run better.
