The Research On The Community Care Of Disabled Elderly In The City

Since the implement of reform and opening policy, the society and family are faced by the aging problem, senior citizens, smaller families which bring pension problem because of fertility reduction and increased life expectancy. Therefore, our pension has shifted to the development model focusing on community, government agencies and multi-subject social care services. At present, there are three kinds of old-age pension mode in China, which are family pension, home care and community care, in which family endowment serves as the main body. The disability community care is the effective way to enhance quality and reduce the burden on the family life of the disabled elderly. Therefore, this paper focuses on Shuangyang District,Changchun City, Jilin Province as the investigation spots to investigate their living condition, community care demand and problems and reasons in taking care of the elderly. Besides, it also puts forward the reform program, in order to provide a theoretical reference to improve China’s urban disability of the elderly.This paper consists of four parts. The first part is the compilation of relevant documents and materials; the second part is the disability status of elderly community care and tries to analyze demands of disability demands from the aspect of health,economic status and spiritual entertainment in Shuangyang; the third part is to analyze the problems and reasons about the community care, which include the unique care content, low participating of the social strength and inadequate social health care; the last part is to propose a solution to the present problems to establish a new service platform, focus on resources integration and perfect the community care system.
