The Research On The Problem Of Rural Floating Population Crime In The Process Of Urbanization

Rural floating population crime refers to the crime committed by people who immigrate to work and live in the city. Based on the background of urbanization development in China, the dissertation is written to analyze the crime conducted by the rural floating population. Resolving the problem that arising from the rural floating population crime is determined to promote the development of urbanization in China.In chapter 1, this paper introduces the background of the floating population crimes in urban cities. In order to facilitate the research of the floating population crime, this paper illustrates the concept of urbanization and its development as well as the concept of rural floating population. Please note that the concept of floating population is almost the same as immigrant workers. However, the reason to use the concept of floating population is that it not only reflects the liquidity characteristic of this very group but also avoids potential language discrimination. In chapter 2, based on the analysis of the rural floating population crime, the author aims at to explore the pattern of it. The author analyzes the current rural floating population crimes that happened in the east, center and west of China, and then comes to the conclusion that the problem of rural floating population crime in China is pervasive..In chapter 3,based on the relevant theory of western criminology and specific circumstances in China, the author intends to analyze the causes of floating population crime. In reference to the Social Anomy Theory, Social disorganization theory, Relative deprivation theory and Cultural conflict theory, this dissertation analyzes the causes of the rural floating population crime.Combined with specific backgrounds of rural floating population crime, this part of dissertation conducted a thorough analysis on the causes of floating population crimes.At the end of this dissertation, the author proposed that comprehensive measures should be adopted to prevent the rural floating population crimes. First of all, the government shall improve their service on the social management and public security. In addition, the government shall also improve the level of education standard and cultural construction among the ruralfloating populations to improve their capability to adapt their urban livings. Foremost,the government shall promote the social justice.
