Studies About The Ideology And Morality Of Villagers During The Process Of Citizenization

The citizenization of villagers not only focuses on the realization of their legitimate rights, but also place emphasis on the transformation of them from the perspective of social and culture. Recently, both the Communist Party of China and central authorities vigorously advocate New Urbanization and further transform people-oriented Urbanization. Additionally, there do exist statements about New Urbanization among National Plan on New Urbanization(2014-2020), the 13 th Five-Year Plan and reports on the work of the government in recent years. All of them stress the establishment of New Urbanization and promote people-oriented Urbanization. And ideology and morality belongs to the category of cultural-ethical civilization, which is considered as the spiritual drive to push the comprehensive development of China. Hence,it is a significant task to strengthen ideology and morality of villagers, which is conductive to accelerating citizenization. For one thing, it is beneficial to maintain social order and form a better social conduct. For another thing, it contributes to the adjustment of industrial structure. What’s more, it can balance the development between Urbanization and Citizenization.While New Urbanization lies in the crucial period of building a moderately prosperous society. Therefore, studies about citizenization deserve to be progressed in the future.The dissertation is under the framework of ideology and morality,combined with pedagogy, psychology and sociology and other relevant theories. And the dissertation finds out the problems that influence the building of ideology and morality during the process of Citizenization of villagers, alongside the solutions to solving these problems. The author choose Dangwu Town, Guian district as the object of study. The dissertation adopts questionnaire and interview as research methodology to conduct empirical study. First, according to the contents included by ideology and morality, the author design the questionnaires form five dimensions: moral codes, culture and education,politics and law, ideal and belief and psychological quality, social cognition and provincialism. Second, in accordance with the questionnaire and interview, the dissertation makes a thorough analysis of the current situation of villagers in Dangwu Town about their ideology and morality, then the author discovers some positive and negative aspects. As for the positive aspect, they are as follows: villagers in Dangwu Town have a better understanding of morality, they follows morality when communicating with others. Most of them are able to participate political activities and learn to protect themselves through law. A great deal of villagers believe in Marxism-Leninism or some are atheist. Besides, there are various ways to interact with the outside. While the negative aspects will be explained in the following, for example, it is the economy that restricts the Citizenization, some villagers do not put ideology and morality into their daily life, others lack of faith, most villagers have a strong feeling of local consciousness. Third, considered the mention five dimensions as the logic main clue, the dissertation devotes to exploring the reasons caused these mention problems. Forth, considering the mentioned problems and their reasons, under the framework of ideology and morality, the dissertation puts forward some detailed solutions through the support and guidance of government, school education, self-improvement of villagers, education from village committees and other informal organization, and social supervision. Finally the dissertation is an empirical study about Urbanization in place. Due to the limited capacity, the proposed problems and suggestions among the dissertation are simply from the aspect of ideological and political education with narrow range and single factor. Therefore, there are much more to do about studying New Urbanization.
