Disability Employment Skills Upgrading Group Social Work Intervention

All along, my Government attaches great importance to the development of employment services, including disabled contains the cause of the disabled. Disabled equitable participation in social life is an important indication of the degree of social civilization and progress. As a special group of people with disabilities, the current employment of the disabled is an important issue the government and the community are very concerned about. In the 21 st century, the Chinese urban community construction as an important task of social development, disabled community work which is one of the main content. Changchun City, Jilin Province Jiutai district government issued a "disabled employment assistance program", which contains a specific group and lighter assembly machine paper cutting craft groups, etc. to achieve the employment of people with disabilities, people with disabilities but need certain skills to meet project requirements and communication skills teamwork and so on. With the implementation of policies and projects to promote the discovery that some people with disabilities does not meet the requirements of the project resulted in employment difficulties. Not only affects the employment of people with disabilities and local failure to implement such a good welfare policy, it caused some problems.For this reason, I, as a social worker, in Changchun, Jilin Province Jiutai district government’s "Disability Employment assistance program" in the idea of undertaking a Disability Employment skills upgrading social work intervention teams to help them improve their job skills to meet them employment needs. Intended, under the guidance of "self-reliance" philosophy, through the use of group work shared some of the Theory and methods of professional team members and enhance employment skills, and fully mobilize the initiative group members, to improve the concept of employment of the disabled, so as to help people with disabilities employment get jobs. This article on how to enhance the lighter assembly groups and group process skills, paper cutting machine to make a substantive exploration.In this paper, a detailed understanding of the situation and needs of Jiutai Changchun City, Jilin Province folk music community of people with disabilities, people with disabilities conducted survey of the conditions and needs assessment, and carried out a total of seven series of group skills upgrading activities. Community work as the representative of the social work group method is very suitable for the current situation and development of China’s national conditions, in the course of the employment of the disabled, plays an active and effective role. We should work together for the social integration of people with disabilities, to contribute to a better life.
