Research On The Development Of Sino-Tur Kish Bilateral Relations In The 21st Century

Both of China and Turkey are important countries in Eurasia. The two countries once have jointly promoted the exchanges between oriental and western civilizations through the Ancient Silk Road. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties,China-Turkey pragmatic cooperation in different areas has made continuous progress.In the new century, Sino-Turkish relationship has maintained fine development momentum in general in recent years. With the joint efforts of both sides, bilateral mutual political trust has been growing continuously with fruitful cooperation in economy and trade areas. China and Turkey have also promoted cooperation on problems and challenges include counter-terrorism. Currently, China is one of Turkey’s important trading partners and investment destinations. Turkey has also become a important partner of China when China has been advancing the One Belt And One Road Initiative(OBOR). However, there are still many problems and challenges between them. Therefore, it has important value on the study of the Sino-Turkey relationship’s progress, distinguishing features and influences.This paper is divided into three sections. The first part illuminates the progress of Sino-Turkish relationship since Justice Development(AK) Party governed.Expound the changes of Sino-Turkish relationship, the bilateral exchanges and cooperation in political, economic, security, culture and education. The second part mainly analyzes the main problems of the development of bilateral relations and the dominant factors that affect bilateral relations. The third part explores the influences and prospects of bilateral relations, and develop countermeasures and suggestions for the development of Sino-Turkish relations.The development of Sino-Turkish relations not only promotes the development of two sides, but also conducive to regional prosperity and stability. China has constantly struggled for realizing Two Goals of One Hundred Years, in the meantime,Turkey has pull off its Revival Plan. China and Turkey will promote betterdevelopment of Sino-Turkish relations on the base of mutual respect and win-win cooperation.
