Since the human society begin, freedom is a desire realm and persistent pursuit of human. Freedom is an old issue in philosophy, and both a novel and vary complicated problem in the academic disciplines. As a problem which every thinker unavoidable, freedom is closely related with the existence and development of the entire human race, and each specific era of society and each person’s fate is closely linked. Through the study of Marx’s various periods of different works, Marx believe freedom is of certainty of knowledge, grasp and use; freedom has the characteristics of practicality, historic and class nature; freedom is the main body of the reality of individual; freedom come from human practice activities, human increase productivity, improve labor efficiency through practice eventually get more and more wide range of freedom; freedom at the end of the day after is the human and the nature, and society, and with its own harmony, is the true, the good and the beautiful unity; Each person’s free and comprehensive development is the ultimate goal of Marx’s free thoughts and theoretical orientation.The third part reveals the Marx’s freedom thought enlightenment to contemporary China.
