2005, H University made the new majors changing policy in student registrationmanagement. After that, the majors changing began to a series of transformations.2007,teaching affairs office pulished detailed regulations of majors changing. This regulationsmade the conditions, programs, managements more clearly and explicitly.2010, HUniversity began to carry out the new student registration management, and the majorschanging contents changed accordingly. The conditions, programs, and managements ofmajors changing policy getting more loosely and humanly. From2005to now, HUniversity’majors changing policy walked through7years, and from one personchanging major in the beginning to fifty-five changing major in2011. This case was notincreased in the number, but combined with practice.This paper analyse backgrounds, transformations, operations, results, valuations ofH University’majors changing policy detailedly. Especially, use policy analysis methodto make a dynamic research, and find the varying reasons, use interviewing method andquestionnaire method to inspect students’ feedback information with this question, beaimed at make a deeply research. On that basis, raise the majors changing improvingsuggestions. The basic structure of this paper is: The first chapter is task introduction,introduct the background and the significance, research status and methods, conceptdefinition;The second chapter researched background and history of majors changingpolicy of H University; The third chapter analysed contents and executive process ofmajors changing policy; The fourth chapter analysed results and problems of this policy;The fifth chapter analysed how to improve major changing policy, and satisfyundergraduates development betterly; The sixth chapter summarize full text, generalizethe paper and rethink the shortage.
